Background
This homeowner decided she wanted to increase the visual impact of her living room window. After calling us and chatting with Martin her options, we suggested a slight reconfiguration of the three existing double-hung windows would be beneficial.
The Work
We opted for adding a picture window to the middle section, flanked by two double hung windows to help open up the view while still retaining the ability to get air flow on spring and fall days. All windows were vinyl and are not maintenance free. Low-E glass, double pane argon with grid grilles up the overall aesthetic. The homeowner couldn’t be more pleased with the look, inside and out!
